We offer a full range of services to contractors, both Main Contractors and Sub Contractors.
Measurement Assistance for Contractors Tenders
We prepare Builders Quantities for Main Contractors using our in house computer Bill production software. Bills can be prepared in either Elemental or Trade formats. In most cases, where the Main Contractors software is compatible, each Bill can be e-mailed as soon as it is complete to allow the Main Contractor to issue Sub-Contractor enquiries at an early stage.
Sub-Contractor and Supplier Enquiries
If required, we are able to prepare and send Sub-Contractor enquiries out on behalf of Main Contractors. A schedule would be prepared to list all the enquiries required, and the drawings, specification, preliminaries and other documentation to be sent with each. The relevant documentation would be copied and the enquiries prepared. Tender lists would be prepared and agreed with the Main Contractor prior to sending out enquiries.
Preparation of Tender Estimates
If required, we are also able to estimate the total cost of the tender. For Sub-contractor elements we would carry out an analysis of the sub-contract tender returns and decide on the most appropriate for the tender. For non sub-contract elements we would build up unit rates and prices. Generally we would leave the pricing of Preliminaries and final adjudication including the assessment of risk and the allowances to be made for Overheads and Profit to the Main Contractor.
Post Contract Assistance
We can be very flexible is the services we offer in this area which may include re-measurement of work as constructed, preparation of Interim Valuations, preparation of Final Accounts or assistance with disputes.
